Paroles en fête

Wire

I composed this work as a suspended celebration. Threads trace a light weave, and in the center, letters and balloons rise up, carried by red lines that vibrate and branch out. Words come loose, float and scatter, like liberated speech or writing in motion. For me, this piece is about the impetus of language: saying, writing and sharing become a joyful game, an aerial feast where ideas take shape and take flight.
