Inhabited foliage

I've composed this work like an inhabited foliage. Within a square frame, I've traced a weft of threads that radiates and closes in on itself, like a canopy seen from below. In this leafy branching, I've slipped little dolls, discreet, almost hidden among the leaves. They seem to appear and disappear in the network, clinging to the wires as if they were branches. These tiny figures give life to the whole: they climb, land, cross this plant space without disturbing it. For me, they embody a fragile, joyful presence, a humanity on the scale of foliage. This work speaks of shelter, play and silent cohabitation, of a world where nature is inhabited with lightness.
