Square support

I built this work around a square, a stable, almost reassuring shape that contains the whole. Inside, the wire radiates out from the center, creating a taut space crossed by a dark, winding root. On one side, I've placed two small figures, like observers, waiting. Another is suspended from the root, clinging to the thread, between falling and holding on. For me, this square is a frame, a limit, while the root embodies what resists and connects. The characters introduce the fragile, the human: they cling, move forward, seek a point of balance in a structure that is beyond them. This work speaks of support, trust and the fine line between anchoring and emptiness.
