Supporting tree

Wire

I shaped this stylized wire tree in search of balance and symmetry, as an ideal form of growth. The branches spread out like mirrors, creating an almost perfect structure. Into this rigorous organization, I suspended a small figure, clinging to the branches as if to a refuge. His discreet presence introduces a human scale: he rests, abandons himself, trusts the tree. Through this work, I speak of harmony, but also of support: a tree that carries, welcomes and holds life in suspension.
