Rooted face
I created this wire face like a tree growing through a weft. The lines spread out, branching out, becoming roots, branches and veins. The eyes take on a green hue, like inner foliage, and the mouth is lightly colored, a fragile anchor point. Caught in a grid, this face remains alive: it breathes, stretches, seeks its place. Through this work, I speak of a face nourished by nature, of a human presence linked to what grows, unfolds and persists.
