Scarlet Mask, Woven Face
I fashioned this wire mask as a fragile, almost transparent face. The lines intertwine, letting the air and the gaze pass through, as if identity were incomplete, under construction. A few touches of material and color emerge, recalling features, memories or emotions. Through this mask, I speak of what we show, what we hide, and of the delicacy of what connects us to each other.
