Rays, Roots and Resonances

In this work, I combine painting and wire to create a geometric disc in shades of grey and white. From its centre, I wove a perfectly symmetrical web, which my wire branches then fracture and bring to life. These ramifications always echo the nature that inspires me — trees, roots, my garden. I love this contrast between mathematical order and the unpredictable quality of the vegetal, meeting here in a single breath.
