The watchman
At the top of the wire root, I placed a tiny figure. He's discreet, almost invisible at first glance, but for me he's essential. He represents the human presence in the face of something beyond it: someone observing, balancing, perched between the deep anchorage of the root and the open space around it. This character doesn't act, he watches. He embodies fragility, but also awareness: the kind that takes the time to look at where we come from, what runs through us, and what quietly sustains us. For me, he's the link between raw material and the sensitive, between the strength of the earth and the thought that rises up.
