Vibrating roots

In this work, I shaped the wire as one would let a wild plant grow. I twisted, knotted and let the branches seek each other out, intersect and escape, until they formed a solid, almost telluric central body. The little red touches at the ends of the lines are like pulsations: fruits, buds, points of life that signal that everything is still circulating. I work with thread the way I look at the roots in my garden, with respect and attention, aware of what links the visible and the invisible. This arborescent form speaks of that which is deeply rooted and that which, despite everything, continues to expand, fragile and alive.
