Multiple life spans

I construct this wire sculpture as a gushing form, almost like a bowl or an open trunk from which aerial roots grow. The wires branch out, stretching into space, light and taut, drawing a fragile, living network. At the end of these roots, I placed small blue figures. They appear as discreet presences, almost like signs. For me, they're a signature: tiny figures that punctuate my work and recall the human scale of the structure. They inhabit the room, clinging to it, watching over it, and giving the whole a soul, as if the form carried within it multiple lives, scattered but connected.
