Between bikes and branches
I construct this wire landscape as a fragile territory, on the border between the real and the imaginary. The thin rods rise up in front of the characters, on bicycles, like a dense forest or a field of tall corn. At their base, I've placed bicycles: they move forward, cross, weave in and out, despite what's beyond them. Depending on how you look at it, I invite you to take a stroll through the undergrowth or to cross at ground level, with no horizon in sight. With wire, hard and aerial at the same time, I disrupt the scale and propose a delicate world, where we become explorers once more.
