The Tree of White Stones
In this sculpture, I wanted to grow a tree from two materials that I love deeply: wood and wire. I chose a fragment of trunk, laden with experience, as the base for a new impetus. Around it, I wove thin metal branches, patient and supple, opening out like a fragile branch. I've suspended little stone beads, rough and natural, evoking pebbles picked up along the way, mineral fruits or still-silent buds. It's a tree that won't wither, a tree of memory and matter, rooted in nature but free of all seasons.
