Field of Gestures

For this work, I fashioned a mold directly from my hand, so that it appears in relief, like a presence emerging from the plaster. From this solidified hand rises a forest of wire rods, each carrying a tiny figure that I've twisted one by one. I like to imagine them as little living forces, light beings seeking balance or clinging to the breath of the world. Their proliferation creates an almost vegetal landscape, a moving field that seems to grow from my own hand. It's my way of showing how a simple gesture can give rise to a multitude of possibilities.
