Feathered Mask

In this mask, I superimposed antique lace, which I then punctuated with pearls and rhinestones, glued one by one. I love this almost patient work of accumulation, where the surface becomes a precious skin, vibrant with detail. The lace outlines the face without revealing it completely, while the shiny sparkles catch the light and blur the marks. For me, this mask is about adornment and protection: a face transformed into an ornament, between mystery and delicacy.
