Feather Bouquet Head

In this dark bouquet, I've assembled black feathers that I've punctuated with flashes of red, like beats, almost wounds of color. The feathers create an organic, living volume that seems ready to quiver with the slightest breath. I like the contrast between the deep black and the intense red, which brings a dramatic tension to the whole. By hijacking the traditional bouquet, I wanted to turn it into a mysterious presence, where the feathers become night flowers, shadowy vegetation, silent and laden with secrets.
