Inner Landscape

I paint this landscape in oils as a succession of gentle, overlapping hills, bathed in warm colors. The reds, oranges and pinks remind me of the colors of autumn in the mountains. As I work with the material and leaf patterns, I think of my chalet, of the familiar landscapes that surround me when nature changes seasons. For me, this scene evokes an intimate and reassuring place: a landscape of memory, between the mountains, the autumn light and the inner refuge.
