Interior windows

I created this work using a combination of oil pencil and oil paint, constructing the surface like a facade made up of squares and passages. The lines trace a grid, almost architectural, in which faces appear, fragmented, repeated, sometimes hidden. I let the drawing dialogue with the painting, between layers, erasures and surges. For me, each square is a window: a fragment of memory, a fleeting presence, a trace of the human caught in a structure that contains and traverses it.
