Red Procession
I parade this red procession like a silent procession against a dark background. The scarlet silhouettes repeat themselves, moving forward together, creating a visual rhythm almost hypnotic, akin to marching. I like this regularity, this collective movement that crosses the space from left to right. The red gives the whole a particular intensity: a warmth, an energy, like a ritual or a contained dance. By juxtaposing these figures, I transform the procession into a narrative frieze, almost cinematographic, where each silhouette participates in the same momentum. Through this work, I celebrate shared movement, the power of the collective, frozen for an instant in paint.
