Appearing in the tumult

I build this painting around a central figure that slowly emerges from the chaos. The face barely appears, as if crumpled, fragmented, caught in a dense, shifting material. Around it, I let a multitude of colored forms proliferate: geometric patterns, signs, almost written fragments, like a world in permanent agitation. These elements intertwine, superimpose and invade the space, sometimes covering the figure, sometimes revealing it. I play with the tension between the body and its surroundings, between identity and the ceaseless flow of thoughts, signs and influences. For me, this work speaks of a fragile presence, traversed by the noise of the world, of a face that resists, appears and disappears in the midst of a teeming inner landscape.
