Crystal Suspension

I created this installation in the garden of my home in Founex, a place where nature often accompanies my work. There, close to the large weeping willow, I found the old structure of a swing. It already carried a memory of play, movement and childhood. I decided to keep it as it was and give it a new life. I suspended several glass objects from this simple frame. Each catches the light in a different way: some pass gently through it, others fragment it into moving fragments. As the day progresses, the sun transforms the installation; the light slides through the glass, reflects on the ground, and dialogues with the willow's supple branches. I like the idea of a fragile equilibrium: the metal of the swing, solid and immobile, carries these transparent forms that almost seem to float. The wind sometimes makes them vibrate slightly, like a discreet breeze in the garden. This work was born of a simple gesture:
