Azure Logs

Land Art

These logs are in my garden, in front of my studio. I applied a deep blue to the heart of the wood, an almost unreal color, as if from another world, that makes the material vibrate from within. This blue reveals the trunk's hidden energy, transforming each log into an eye, a planet, a symbol of openness and infinity. Ivy climbs naturally, inviting itself onto these painted forms, embracing and softening them. It blends the living with the cut wood, nature with human intervention. The whole becomes a forest mosaic, both raw and luminous, where my gestures interact with the spontaneous growth of the plant. Through this work, I'm looking for a cohabitation: painting the material to let it become landscape again.
