The Key Aviary
In my garden, I hung these large copper keys like talismans that chime softly in the wind. Above, I installed bird silhouettes — my eternal companions — who seem to watch over this strange aviary. The bare branches that intertwine form a light canopy, a drawing of lines that catches the light. I love the idea that these keys open invisible doors — perhaps those of the stories the birds carry with them. This installation is for me a place of secret passages, a space where copper, air and the song of the garden converse in silence.
