The Wire Sentinel

Land Art

I found this wire head at a flea market and adopted it as a small, mysterious creature. I installed it on my woodpile in the garden, where the seasons stack up too. With its green eyes and spiral design, it seems to watch in silence over this slightly wild corner. I love the idea that it now dwells here, between metal and bark, like a discreet garden spirit. This improvised sentinel weaves together the story of a found object and the simple poetry of my daily life.
