The Suspended Garden

When my wisteria disappeared, I wanted to preserve the life that had inhabited the space above our outdoor table. So I created this suspended garden — a sky of vegetal spheres floating above our summer meals. I added birds, because they live here with me, crossing my garden each day like familiar companions. Looking up from the benches, I find their gentle presence among the suspended foliage. This installation has become a reinvented canopy, a tribute to the nature that persists — even when a plant is gone.
