Lone Guardian of the Garden

In this bronze sculpture, I have fashioned a simple, almost archaic body, which I have chosen to install in my garden. This nude woman, set among ferns and trees, becomes a silent presence, neither totally human nor totally plant-like. For me, this work is not fixed: it lives with the garden, sharing the same slow rhythm, like a motionless being observing and accompanying nature around it.
