Blue totem with two faces
In this burlap totem sculpture, I let the form rise like a stretched body, crossed by deep blues and dark traces. The material retains its folds and irregularities, like a memory inscribed in the fabric. At the top, two faces emerge, simple and silent, topped with wire that unfurls like branches or disordered thoughts. I like this fragile verticality, between anchorage and elevation, like a human presence that has become a sign, the guardian of an ancient link between earth, body and spirit.
