Silk Theatre

I composed this work from paper collages that I assembled and reworked with a black pen. The human forms appear fragmented, almost melting into a landscape of plant motifs, lines and textures. I draw over them to link the elements, emphasize contours and create a flow between the bodies and the scenery. For me, these figures are caught in an in-between: they emerge from the material, like presences under construction, combining the living, memory and gesture of drawing.
