Souls of the Field Box
I covered this box with burlap and created small figures from a wire frame and assembled fabrics. Their faces are sewn together, stitch by stitch: eyes, nose and mouth, like essential signs. For me, these figures carry the soul of field workers. They remind me of my family, especially my father, who came from this farming background. Through them, I pay homage to these modest lives, to the work of the land and to the memory passed on through simple gestures.
