Autumnal Bamboo Forest
I thought of this work as an evocation of autumn, with its deep colors and warm light. The red, brown and orange tones are reminiscent of changing, falling foliage. Inside, the Japanese paper, rolled and glued, rises up like a bamboo forest: vertical rhythms, supple and lively, give the material an almost vegetal presence. For me, this piece is a silent stroll through a season of transition, between fragility, warmth and density.
