Blue Bamboo Box

This box brings together paintings, drawings of flowers and rolled Japanese papers that I call my bamboos. On one side, the flowers are drawn and painted directly, like a light, rhythmic plant motif. On the other, the rolled Japanese papers stand vertically, forming a dense, almost sculptural field of bamboo. The bluish tones bring a calm freshness, while the whole evokes stylized nature, between imaginary garden, floral motif and vertical forest.
