Memory Landscape Box

I painted this box in oil using the trace of leaves, applied directly to the surface to bring the landscape to life. The plant imprints create reliefs and masses that evoke a mountain range. These shapes remind me of the La Forclaz region, where my chalet is located, and the view of the Dent Blanche. The warm, earthy colors convey the atmosphere of the place, between nature, memory and personal anchorage.
