Black Constellation Bag

In this black canvas Bag, I transformed the surface into a night sky. I embroidered stars one by one, like points of light in the darkness, then I made wire constellations adorned with glittering pearls, which overflow the canvas and take on volume. I love this transition from utilitarian object to dream space: the bag leaves the earth to look up at the sky. For me, it's an invitation to carry the universe with you, to turn the simplest material into a medium of escape, poetry and infinity.
