Sac Cœur Nocturne

In this bag, I worked with black as a living, dense, almost velvety material. I embroidered the surface with dark pearls in tight relief, then let pink sparkles emerge, like beats and pulsations. All around, the sparkling points form a protective crown, somewhere between soft and spicy. I liked the idea of a round, almost organic bag, evocative of a heart closed in on its secrets, precious and vulnerable at the same time. For me, this bag is an intimate, nocturnal form, where light always appears where you least expect it.
