Nuit Minérale Bag

In this bag, I sought density and silence. I covered the surface with a multitude of small dark and golden pearls, sewn tightly together, almost to excess, like a black earth charged with fragments of light. At a distance, it appears compact and deep; up close, it reveals a vibration, a discreet shimmer that catches the light with every movement. I love the contrast between the absorbing black and these precious sparkles, like a mineral night guarding buried treasures. For me, this bag is a contained form, heavy with matter and energy, an object that is both sober and intensely inhabited.
