Vegetable Fire Bag

Bags & Necklaces

In this bag, I let the color take over, an incandescent, almost burning red, like a flowering under tension. I worked the textile in folds and points, repeated, sewn one by one, to create a vibrant, organic surface, reminiscent of both an expanding plant and a protective carapace. Small, light touches punctuate the material like seeds or eyes, breathing points in this density. For me, this bag is a living form, born of earth and fire, an object that asserts its presence as much as it protects what it shelters.
