Night bark bag

Bags & Necklaces

In this bag, I worked with the fabric in volume, pushing it outwards until these pointed, almost defensive shapes emerged, like a bark or a bug. The dark material absorbs the light, revealing only slight, discreet splinters sewn here and there. The sheathed, structured handle extends this dense, organic body. I thought of this bag as a form born of the ground, inspired by the garden and the undergrowth, something raw and alive, both protective and mysterious, that we carry like a fragment of transformed nature.
