Sous-bois sewn bag
In this bag, I worked the fabric like a living skin, pleating it, tightening it, then covering it with beads sewn on one by one. The volumes are superimposed like leaves on the ground, forming a dense, almost mineral material. The beads punctuate the surface, catching the light, recalling dew or seeds hidden in the garden. I love the slow, earthy gesture of sewing, where every stitch counts. For me, this bag is an evocation of the undergrowth, a fragment of nature carried by hand, between protection, memory and delicacy.
