Fragments and Traces

Des bribes et des traces (Hannah et Alice, destins croisés) is a book-object created by artist Pierrette Gonseth-Favre and researcher Eva Klein de Bouzaglo. combining narrative and artistic creation. The book brings together the contrasting lives of two girls, Alice and Hannah, through short texts evoking their daily lives and their passage into adolescence. Each chapter is illustrated with fragile, expressive wire drawings that extend the narrative. Published in French and English, the book accompanies an exhibition of recent works by the artist and explores, between fiction and autobiographical resonances, the creative force and continuity of feelings.
